HathiTrust Tour

What makes a repository “trustworthy,” and why is this trustworthiness important? Come along  Thursday, November 16, to Hathi Trust and learn about the institution and how they completed the process to become a trustworthy digital repository as well as received their TRAC recognition. Further, we will be learning about the levels of digital preservation that they strive for in order to preserve their historical data for future generations.

Here’s a link to Hathi Trust’s website so you can learn more about the institution: https://www.hathitrust.org/about

Learn more about TRAC status here: https://www.crl.edu/archiving-preservation/digital-archives/metrics-assessing-and-certifying/trac
